  1. @MRNURSE2010, I have not taken the exam yet, but I will be taking the AANP soon. It takes about 4 weeks turnaround time. Verysadmsn, I am in Ky. I probably will schedule the AANP next month. I feel exactly like you do. Please try to relax, knowing you can take the ANCC if need be will help you relax as well. I will pray for you. You all ready know what you need to pass its just how the answers are worded. Hang tough and keep me posted :)
  2. Verysadmsn, You WILL pass this exam. It make take time but thats okay. You did not get this far without being knowledgeable!I am terrified of taking it. I am doing everything you did and will only pray for the best. I am signing up for both just in case the AANP is not the test for me and I think it will decrease my anxiety as well. Let me know when you take it so I can pray for you. What state are you in?
  3. Congrats anxiousMSN. I am preparing to take the AANP who's review material did you use and in hindsite what do you think you needed to do differenty to pass? Thanks!!
  4. I have not taken it yet. How did you prepare the first time?
  5. FNPGrad, Out of all your review material, which do you think helped you the most? Like you, I am looking at everything and am very overwhelmed. I saw the new Fitz book and did not know if I should get it because I have her syllabus from attending the live review course. At present, I am listening to Amelie Hollier's cd's, her syllabus and Fitz syllabus and continuously answering questions. I have not set a test date yet but maybe the third week October. I just feel so unprepared. Please help!!!
  6. Hello all, I have read everyones thoughts on taking the exam. I am taking mine in 4 weeks. I have Fitzgerald cd,s as well as took her review. I thought it was horribly boring as they read straight from the syllabus. However, I have been listening and reading all of Amelie Holliers stuff. So, whoever has taken the AANP and listened to Holliers cd's and review books/questions please respond and let me know if her stuff helped with the exam. She is just so easy to listen and learn from. I feel like I don't know anything and am anxious as can be! Thanks
