Hello everyone. I finally have been accepted into a nursing program! So now the excitement is wearing off and the fear is kicking in! So I would like too know in your experience what was the hardest part of your Nursing Program?! What was the most difficult struggle or subject you dealt with? ( I'm fearing math) All responses welcomed and I thank you in advance!!

I'm hearing pharmacology is the hardest for some.. What else? Could that be all?

I would apply at both schools... But, Galen first. Its kind of hard to get in Nursing School now. More options are better then no options.

Hi icaspe.. The program at Fortis is 23,000.. Yea costly. They are accredited and offer the bridge program. Everything is included in that price! From your hesi exam cost to your books!

If those are your plans to bridge over, I would check into another school. I have heard Galen is a good school.. Do you live in the Bay area?

Congrat's to all that passed the hesi!! Where will everyone be going to school at? I haven't scheduled my hesi yet. I took the first step and passed the SLE, now I'm studying the hesi evolve book.. I'm nervous but excited at the same time.. Good Luck to everyone!!!

Oh that's not bad.. I'm looking into fortis college. There evening program is from 6-10 but monday thru friday... Good Luck to you!

What are the class hours for the evening program? And how many days a week?

Hello. I was reading some of your previous posts. I wanted to know what school you decided to go to? Did you choose Galen or Fortis? There is a Fortis in tampa. Whichever one you did decide on could you give me information about? Thanks I'd really appreciate it!

this is the information found on the erwin tech website: applications are currently being accepted for the october 2011 day class and the january 2012 evening class.

I will just have to call erwin directly.. There website said their is a waiting list. The price of some of these schools are ridiculous. Rasmussen College is charging $40,000 for their RN program! But you know the cost of education is not cheap. I have thought of the same things you listed. After passing the entrance exam, depending on how long before school starts I wanted to take courses in my free time. That way I can be ahead. Have some kind of knowledge before schools starts. I'm so glad you shared that information about Allied Health. That's another school I thought about contacting. Its something to check out because you know you cant the advice of one person who had a bad experience.

How come I can answer these questions but cant get into nursing school!!!! Really irks me!! Maybe I have test anxiety! I don't know. I just tell myself one day i'll make it and keep trying and never give up! Words of encouragement..(and alittle prayer to myself)

Nobody is rushing... There are waiting list out there.. If you go online erwin and brewster have I think the longest. Where they do there clinical I have know idea. They been around for awhile so I don't think it's that bad. :anbd::anbd:That's what this forum is for to explore options and seek advice..

I looked into all those schools.. Everyone of them have almost a two year waiting list! Thanks anyway. I'm looking into kaplan's associate in science nursing. Thanks.
