Quitting during orientation
I've seen some posts about this topic but cant seem to find anything that's really answering my questions. I just recently moved to a new area and started orientation. And to be honest, I'm just miserable. I don't like the area, I'm regretting taking the job, I feel out of place, etc. I've talked with some travel recruiters about finding an assignment closer to home and that's what I want to do. Since I just started orientation, do I need to give a 30 day notice or will I just be asked to leave that day? Also, in the past I've heard people mention that nurses can be asked or sued for the training they received during orientation if they leave early. I didn't sign any kind of contract stating that nor did I discuss it during pre employment for this position. Is that something that could happen? Thanks guys!

Possible health coach
Hello!! So I've been talking with people and doing a lot of research, or as much as I can find on the topic. But I'm reaching out to all the health coaches out there please. I'm wondering how much of a market there is for RN health coaches and if you could tell me just little about how you got started getting clients. And any advice would be appreciated 😊

How long?
Before I get started, I'm only asking this to get some feedback from people. I know this will be a touchy subject for some people and I don't want to start a back and forth between people. My question is this...I am a new grad and was fortunate to get 2 jobs right out of school (in May). I work PRN at a psych facility and full time in an ICU in VA. My plan was to move right out of school to Maryland and get a job there. I applied to many places there during school but I was unsuccessful in finding a job in MD. At the same time, I applied for jobs here in VA just in case and ended up having to take the jobs here. My plan is still to move to Maryland as soon as I can...and thats where you guys come in. My apt lease is up next July and I'm wondering how bad it would look to employers if I leave a job after only a year? Thanks!!

Job commitments
I'm a soon to be new grad that is job hunting in Southern MD. I'm finding a lot of places say that the new hire would have to sign a 24 month commitment upon being hired. I'm wondering what to think about this? How concrete is this commitment? And what would be pros and cons for this? I'm worried I would be hired somewhere and should I be extremely unhappy there, I'd be stuck there for 24 months. I'm just a little taken aback by this because all the hospitals around where I live currently do not require this. Thanks!

Physical requirements of NP jobs
I'm looking into going into nursing school but I had a car accident a few years ago which has left me with limited use of my left hand. I have little to no sensation in my thumb, pointer and middle finger. I'm wondering if this is something that is going to cause trouble for me in nursing
