Yes, those books are expensive! I am slowly buying them here and there, just trying to find the cheapest possible. Does anyone know when the nursing department is going to post Spring syllabus? They promised to do it way back in mid November, still nothing the last time I've checked ;(

I agree core0 it is mostly illegal, but difficult to prove it and fight against it. I just see that OP is not in the best bargaining position. So what do you think happens if the OP tells the IM doc that she cannot do that? My guess, the doc would politely agree, go into lengthy explanation why she needs it, and look for somebody else. I saw it frequently happen: use of 1099 when in actuality it is w-2, they are saving on taxes and so difficult to hunt them for this.

Here we go again...sighhh. I would advise you to validate your facts first and not from the Plain Dealer and hearsay, or "my professor who teaches chem, bio whatever says so." Go on accrediting websites - state BON and ACEN and read the related documentation - it's there. I like the program, it's old and very well respected and recognised. Clinical locations are excellent! Graduates are employed! In addition, it's a very affordable, also the key, at least for me!

They did, indeed! I like the fact that the dean of nursing is the woman who worked for ACEN in the past. I wonder if that is just a coincidence or a strategic recruitment. I cannot wait to start. By the way, which stethoscope are you all buying? I want Littmann cardiology 3 or in that category but that thing is pretty darn expensive ;(!
