  1. I thought about going to an agency but I read some pretty nasty stuff about them. I decided to go back to school.
  2. No, I still haven't found anything. Any advice?
  3. I completely understand your frustration. I moved to Ft. Lauderdale in July. I received my FL nursing license(I'm from TN which isn't a compact state) in September and have been looking for a job ever since. I'm considering trying out a staffing agency but I don't know anything about them! Best of luck in your search!
  4. How bad is chemistry? It's been so long! Also, did you take A&P and chemistry together? Thanks for the information!
  5. I finally found that information online, you're right NOBODY answers the phone! I will have to take all those science classes because they weren't required for my degree. So, I guess I'll be the oldest student in the class! Thanks!
  6. I have my BS in Communications but I'm not sure what will transfer. I need to go down there and talk to an advisor. Thanks for the info!
  7. HI! I'm new to the board and new to the area. We just moved to Broward County in July. Anyway, I've been looking at some of the information on LPN to RN transition program. Is it a long process to get into the program? Any recommedations? I'm not sure where to go and who I need to speak with.
  8. Are there some staffing agencies that are better than others? I've never used one so, I'm not sure how they work.
  9. I completely know how you feel!!! I too check every possible job site daily with no luck. :angryfire I moved to Broward County in July because of my husband's job and have my FL LPN license but I can't get anyone to call me back. I'm thinking of just going back to school for my RN. I'm just glad to know someone else is having the same difficulties.
