Hi Kattika~ I promise to let you know how my appointment goes! Are you planning on going to CSCC or are you considering another school? I have an advising appointment at COTC in Newark this friday. Newark is about 40 minutes from Columbus, but they accept applications a few times a year. :redpinkhe

Well my advising appointment at CSCC didn't go well. I told her I have a lot of questions about the nursing program. She cut me off immediately, told me my walk-in appointment isn't the same as a regular appointment and she will tell me what I need to take. SOOooo I scheduled another appointment and the soonest I could get in was August. I did find out they accept applications each year in January, first come first serve for those who qaulify. You start in fall and spring. If you submit an application this January, you will start either Fall 2010 or spring 2011. I'm not sure how many students they except. sigh

Hi Kattika~ I have an appointment with an adviser next week. However I do know they only accept application once a year. I will miss the application this upcoming year (Jan 2010) because I will be taking pre-req during winter quarter. This leaves me done w/ pre-reqs in the spring and waiting 3 quarters to submit an application in Jan 2011. I'm not into waiting that long because once I submit I have heard you are on a waiting list. This could place me starting as late as 2012. NO WAY! COTC accepts applications 4 times a year. It looks like that's my only option. I'll post more once I meet w/ an adviser to clarify a few things.

Hello~ I live in Columbus OH and want to get some feedback on the best RN schools for associates degree in the area. I am currently attending CSCC. I can't believe they only accept applications once a year and that just places you on a waiting list... JEEZE! SO I am now considering COTC (dread the drive) and the School in Marion. Any feedback on these schools and any new ones to consider would be GREATLY appreciated.:heartbeat:redbeathe:heartbeat
