  1. I will be graduating in the spring from nursing school and would like to work in Labor and Delivery, or possibly NICU. I am in the market for a new stethoscope and am confused with all the options available. I don't want to spend more than $200, and my current stethoscope is horrible, so anything would be an improvement. Any ideas on what my better options would be? Thanks for your assistance in advanced! Trish
  2. That is a wonderful start thank you, thank you, thank you!! I have struggled with some of my other care plans because I was not getting enough information in my assessment so any other questions that you think might be especially important for a patient with SLE would be greatly appreciated as well so that I can come up with effective care plans!! I really appreciate your expertise!!
  3. Hello all!! I am a first year nursing student in an AD-RN program and my clinical patient for this week is a 20 year old female who diagnoses include SLE and UTI. She also recently had a miscarriage. I have been having trouble narrowing down the questions I should ask my patient's regarding their functional health patterns, and have got the basics down, but I was wondering if any of you had any ideas on what specifically I could ask this client that would pertain to her diagnoses as related to the cognitive-perceptual, Activity-exercise, and health perception- health management pattern as these are the ones my instructor wants me to focus on. Any suggestions you could provide would be apprecaited!! Thanks in advanced.
