New Licensed Registered Nurse - BLS / ACLS - HCP Training
Thanks guys, Yeah, Im a newly licensed RN - State of California and waiting for the approval of my RN endorsement here in Indiana. Yeah, I havent got any certificate of the Training yet but we have it during my nursing program but not certified by AHA. Its actualy available on some of the Hospital over here but they're just so sluggish on their response. One sent me their sched but it starts late on April so maybe I just have to wait. Im still unemployed though I have waiting job in Hospital and Nursing Home, im just waiting for my License here in Indiana. Anyway, thank you so much.

Qbank is $299. Hmmm... If you have studied well on those materials, then you should do well on the exam.

New Licensed Registered Nurse - BLS / ACLS - HCP Training
Hi, Is it advisable to have your training on line for BLS and ACLS for HCP in order to get the certificate from AHA? Does AHA provides the certificate for BLS and ACLS - HCP taken from on-line courses? I'm having a hard time enrolling to the training course in the Hospitals and their schedule is available this month of april. I'm still unemployed so I would like to work out on my training first while waiting for the approval of my RN License endorsed here in Indiana from California. Hoping for your response.

This message is taken from the one I sent to those test takers asking for tips. Hi, sorry for the late response. My brother broke my laptop and our desk top at home. So I have it reformatted for me to use it back again. It was invaded by viruses. Anyway, yeah, I only answered 85 questions, and my test taking experience was relax and smooth. I havent had a rough time on it. What I did is, I developed structured plan for my self esp to these following scope of NCLEX RN: Infection Control, Prio and Delegation and Pharma. 60 - 75 % of the questions I took were taken from prio and infection control. So you have to highlight those concepts on your review. The Kaplan Qbank has greatly helped me, I can attest to the questions I answered with my real test experience. Although, you're going to have some hard time with Kaplan. I even started 56% to 78%, average of 62%. And my Prio and Delegation Exit Exam was 90%. So it did help me so much. I answered all the questions too on Saunders 4ed Compre Review for NCLEX RN and the accompanied CD but Saunders questions were kinda the complicated-objective type of questions. So if you have accomplished the book, then for sure, you'll do great with physiological Integrity. I also answered all the questions on Exam Cram Practice Questions. So I was kinda prepared when I took it. But, I advise you to purchase Kaplan's Qbank, with its 3000 questions, Im kinda confident with the material that it covers everthing. Good luck. Oh yeah, you've got to believe in your self, you should be emotionally prepared, and confident prior and during your exam. You can make it. You're almost there.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, my brother broke my laptop so I had to wait until its fixed. I saw my name after 2 days of taking the exam from the CA BRN website, However, I have read some post that others take at least 2 - 30 days, average of 10 days wait. And sometimes, their name appears after a month. So you've got to keep your finger crossed until you get your result coming from your BON, if its not on the website. Good Luck.

Thanks Raga! Yeah, at last I can start my career now as an RN. I started submitting applications yesterday (Sat) so the Human Resources was closed. I wasnt able to speak with the one in-charged for RN employment. But Im really hoping that I'll be hired as soon as possible. I'll be going to enroll my self for BLS and ACLS course after I get a job. Thanks again Raga.

Hi DMNGS, Hmmm... I tested here in Indiana State not in California. I took it march 3 and got the result on March 6. Keep you're finger crossed, suzzane said that the issuance of license takes 2 - 14 days, average of 10 days (It varies actually some take 30 days - according to posts that I have read). However, in order for your name to appear on CA BRN Website, SSN# should have been provided to BRN. Keep your hope and pray.

We've accomplished the hardest part of becoming a NURSE so there's no way we'll be barred by any other obstacle again. We just have to keep moving forward. Yeh. Hey, every hospital that I submitted a resume requires that there should have a certificate of BLS and ACLS for the newly licensed RN. We've had it already during my 4 year BSN Program but I dont have the certificate so I might just have my training in one of the hospitals here if favored. Yeh! Im still really Happy!
