  1. I was "waitlisted" last year, and yes, you have to start over the next year. From what I was told, not everyone who was interviewed but not accepted is placed in the alternate pool. They would not tell me how many were in the alternate pool, and said that when a spot opens up all applications in the pool are reviewed again, so there is no way to tell you where you are on a list. I'm still waiting to hear from them for this cycle...best of luck everyone!
  2. I was placed on the alternate list as well. I agree the interview was refreshing, I was so used to being bombarded with clinical questions that it was nice to just sit and chat, although it did make it difficult to gauge how well it went. I have heard that if you interview and are not accepted you are placed in the alternate pool with everyone else and then applications are reviewed if an opening becomes available... so the pool would be roughly 30 of us? Things may have changed, I heard this a while ago from people applying before me. I'll be interested to see what you learn!
  3. They haven't even met yet?! I understand they have to get a bunch of busy professionals together to make selections, but this is killing me!
  4. I got a call from the school today and was invited to interview! They're not starting until January, and they're going to be spread out over a few weeks, so it sounds like it'll be a while before any of us hear whether we've been accepted or not. Good luck to everyone!
  5. I received that Email as well. Sounded like there were two people that decided not to join the program (my guess is they applied at MSA as well since they just announced who they accepted for the 2013 start date). There were over 100 responses to be considered for those two spots and they chose them earlier this week. Speaking of MSA... any thoughts on the differences between the two programs? I'm an out-of-state applicant who plans on applying to both.
