  1. Hi, I made the switch from ER to Hospice over a year ago and think it was the best thing i have ever done. I feel that i now have time to be a nurse. The money is not great and the paperwork can be heavy but its worth it. It can be very flexible. If you don't feel comfortable offering emotional support and talking about hard topics this is not the job for you. If you like getting to know your pts then you will love it. I wish you luck
  2. I have a ADN, I applied with the NMC in 2002 and recieved my registration but did not use it at that time. I know the laws have changed since then. I'm not sure if my license there is still valid.
  3. Hello, I am a UK born and USA trained RN. I am thinking of returning to the UK in the near future. I was wondering how nurses trained outside of the UK are graded when they start with the NHS. I am a hospice nurse and love what I do and would like to continue in Hospice care in the UK. Will that be hard to do? Are hospice jobs hard to find? I am very lucky to be a duel national and not have to worry about obtaining a work visa. Any words of advise would be great.
