I guess, it all depends on the area.

I am an LPN in NJ. When I graduated two years ago, I was getting payed $23.00 per hour at my first job. I was payed $26.00 per hour at my last job. Now, I am only doing agency. I get payed $30.00 - $32.00 per hour. I just worked today and was payed $34.00 per hour.

I say you go for it unless you can get into an RN program. Once you get licesed, you can just do a bridge.

I live in northern NJ and the starting rate for LPN is $ 25.00-$ 28.00. However, living exp is high. Agency work is a lot higher $32.00 per hr.:monkeydance:
