Hello, im i right in thiking that one possible cause of a high Na+ is dehydration, so what would be causes for low (over rehydration) ?, also when doctors prescribe iv fluids how do they know what amount to give, what bloods do they look at. Thanks.

hello, just a quxik question, if someone has a diastolic pressure of 118, what is this indicating, sorry this have never really been discussed. i know diastolic pressure is when the heart relaxes. and i was reading a pharmaceutrical article the other day and it said that beta blockers increase diastolic interval, prompting me to ask this question. thnaks.

wonder if someone could help me !!!!!!! I know that illness trajectories vary from client to client, but interms of a client with a parapneumonic effusion what would the usual trajectory be. The patient is going to have a chest drain inserted if this helps. This question is really bugging me. Thanks.

Wound case
Hi, You have the chance of using any type of dressing available, everything is at you dispsal. Patient is female 62yrs old with a medical history of cancer of the breast, which has led to a left midclavicular fungating lesion in location, gradually advancing towards the left axilla. The lesion is heavy in exudate and malodour, the patient is palliative and good nutritional intake. How would you propose to treat this wound. Thankyou.
