    I read your post with interest. Here in Wyoming the psych curriculum has been "integrated" throughout the courses. This is true in the ADN as well as BSN level. While not my preference, it is reality. I work at an inpatient, freestanding psych facility that regularly hires new grad. ADN nurses for psych. We do that out of necessity and also because we have had good luck with many (not so good with some ... I believe if you have the interest and determination you can do a great job. Takes a great committment to ongoing education on your part. If you are interested in practicing in the Wild West - email me and I will get you more information. Donna
