  1. Hi! I'm currently a NICU nurse looking into applying for the NNP program at Ohio State University. I was wondering if any of you are currently in or graduated from this program? I would like to know how's the application process like? What were the interview questions? Is it a hard program to get into? How many people were in your cohort? Any info would be much appreciated. ?
  2. Hi, has anybody recently interviewed for the NICU at LACUSC? Have they gotten back to you yet? I had my interview on 04/25 and I'm still waiting for a call back. Is this a bad sign?
  3. @cc95 Hi thanks for responding! It's nice to find someone in the same unit and shift as me LOL Are you excited?
  4. Hi! Just wondering if anyone else here is starting their new grad residency with PIH Good Samaritan in Los Angeles on February 27? I got hired for CVDOU nights. Would like to connect! What unit and shift were you hired for? ? and have you gotten your orientation schedule yet? Thank you ?
  5. According to talent acquisition, New grad residency June/July cohort will be posted around May ? also, congratulations to everyone who got in and wish y'all the best time on the floor. ?
  6. @clatchRN Hi ? next cohort will be posted around May for the June cohort.
  7. @bnpina Im actually not sure how established it is but I do know that they've had it for quite some time now too.
  8. Hi @bnpina from what I can remember, you may be offered a full time/part time position by your unit after working certain hours per week after a certain period of time. But I'm not quite sure if that applies for the new grad program. You are however able to pick up more shifts once your orientation/probation (6 months) is over. Only downside is you still won't have benefits unless you are part/full time. Hope that helps. Goodluck on your interview! Seems like they are calling external applicants first. None of the internal applicants that I know have heard anything yet. ALSO FOR ANYONE WONDERING: They said program start date is March 06, 2023
  9. Hope your interview went well and you get an offer soon! ?
  10. @Nurse2710 thank you ? man, this waiting game is killing me LOL im internal and most of the people I know that applied internally are all still waiting to be contacted ? btw, did you status change for the job application yet?
  11. @Nurse2710 Hi! Are you waiting for an update too? If you don't mind, which location did you apply for? Also, are you an internal or external applicant?
  12. @Nursevana goodluck on your interview this week! Let us know how it goes!
  13. Hi, I'm sorry for what you're going through right now. I think the best option at this time would be to start looking for a different job so you can have the lined up before you quit. Do extensive research about the unit you apply for so you don't regret if you leave this one and end up in another unfullfilling job. Also, keep in mind that most places that hire for night shift typically have a waitlist that are years(not even just a year). Another option might be to ask your current employer if a transfer to a different unit would be possible? If you feel like taking a break is the best way, then do so. Hopefully, you've saved enough just incase. I hope you find exactly what works for you, wish you the best!
  14. Haha I'll update as soon as I get anything. Thanks for responding again!
  15. @Nursevana Thank you! ? got my fingers crossed. LOL I heard it's difficult to even get an interview. Btw, did you and your friend apply as internal or external applicants?
