  1. 15 years ago while I was in my prerequisites to become a surgical tech I found out I had hepatitis C. Soon after I was diagnosed I was able to get into a clinical trail for the medication they currently use for treatment. I was cleared of the virus. I just started traveling as a surgical technologist last year. I applied to a medical center that requires hep c titers, that has never happened before. I am very nervous about the results coming back and them denying my travel contract. My question is since I still test positive but don’t have active disease will this disqualify me for the position? Are they only testing for active disease? Any insight would be very helpful. Thank you
