  1. Dressing change policy

    Hi, all. I'm a kinda new tx nurse. My facility texted to all nurses to not put date and initials when doing dressing changes because some consulting services advised them to do so.. I'm very uncomfortable with that.. I would like to continue label dressings because of patient safety and my own safety reasons. I would appreciate any advice how to handle this .. I can't imagine any rationale for not labeling dressings.. Please, help
