  1. University of Alberta Educated RN Seeking Licensure in California

    Hi there, I went to school at UAlberta for their BScN in 2022. I have since worked in Washington for just shy of 2 years, so I've gone through the TN Visa process and have my SSN. Anyone from UAlberta obtained their license in CA? I've heard about specific requirements with a micro lab that has deterred people. Also, were you able to just submit your CGFNS documents and be done with it? Thanks for any help!

  4. Canadian RN New Grad Seeking Residency Program in Florida

    Hi all! I will be graduating from a Canadian university with my BScN in April of 2022. I'm super interested in the new RN grad residency program in Florida. We don't have these programs in my province (Alberta) and the transition from new grad to RN is basically sink or swim. Any information on how competitive the residency programs are in Florida? I'm looking at ICU/CVICU as a speciality. Also, does anyone know of any Canadian new grads who have done a residency at any hospital in the US? Thanks
