Congrats on coming to Miami! I can only speak for the Baptist residency. I am currently a resident and I am getting paid $29.50 base pay. There is an additional $4 from 3-11pm and an additional $6 after 11pm for nightshift. I am in a Med surge unit currently and it is tough but rewarding. Baptist has multiple didactic classes over zoom as well as a project to go along with clinical site learning. It is a 3 phase residency where you begin with a preceptor and slowly transition to being on your own.

has anybody gotten an update from baptist?

They told me that they were finishing interviews within the next two weeks, and that I would hear back by the 3rd week!! I hope you get an interview too!!

Hey!! I also did an interview for both but haven’t heard anything. I had my Baptist interview yesterday and my UM one on the 2nd. What units did you interview for in your Baptist interview? Mine was step down units.

Hi, I recently applied to the University of Miami and the Baptist Hospital nurse residency programs that begin in October. If anybody else has applied to these, have you heard anything back from them? Thanks !
