  1. Yeah! Message me if you can.
  2. Hi, I'm currently in the program. I had an overall 3.4 GPA. I believe my science GPA was a 3.7. I had zero healthcare experience on my resume. I had volunteer work, and I wrote the optional personal statement.
  3. Hello! For those who are in the program, do you recommend renting textbooks? Or which textbooks do you think NEED to be bought? Thank you!
  4. What way to do you prefer an individual response?
  5. Could you explain your experience? I chose this program because I gave birth end of June and I'm a stay at home mom. Being able to do classes online and go to clinical 2-3 times a week is doable with my husband working from home.
  6. Yeah I live in Georgia and just about an hour to an hour and a half away from campus! I think having a stellar personal statement can boost your chances as well. Hopefully you get in for the Summer cohort and good luck ?
  7. I’m so sorry to hear that! I believe they were figuring out clinical placements in the area you live in. An email I got back a month ago was that the clinical placement team was waiting to hear back if I have a clinical in my area to take me. Once they hear back then they’ll make a decision based off that. Best of luck!
  8. Hi y’all! Thought I’d pop in and give a little update. I just got my acceptance for the Spring and I’m so excited to start! I applied May 31st and this has been the longest wait ever LOL let me know if you guys got any word.
  9. As far as I know, they didn’t say there was a GPA requirement. However, it’s safe to assume 3.0 or above as other nursing schools I’ve seen require at least a 3.0 GPA. It could be risky applying with a 2.7 but my friend was admitted to her masters program under conditions due to a lower GPA.
  10. Hi, I haven’t heard anything back yet; however, I did email them and they said they’re still working on decisions!
  11. Nope. Mine still says “submitted” or “completed application”. I’m in assumption that mine will take longer due to submitted a little later.
  12. I applied for the distance accelerated program. It says online that early decisions come out middle of June, so I'm not entirely sure if that just goes based off the order of those submitted already. I called Emory Nursing this morning and they did tell me that standardized scores are waived. It's an option for those who did really well and want to beef up their application. Also, incase anyone else had questions, just as long as there are green check marks next to your list (optional: test scores), you should be completed.
  13. Yes, those applying for the InEmory Masters program will hear back in July. I just finished my application today for the DABSN program. Do y’all know if the standardized scores are required now? And is there an official “submit” application option or is just green check marks?
  14. I’m in the process of writing one incase it could boost my prospects a little higher. I should go ahead and finish it if it takes 12 weeks to hear back ?
