She interviewed last Friday on 2/12. She hasn't heard anything yet but did receive a reference request e-mail today!

ICN told my friend they would be making their hiring decisions by tomorrow. ? But I totally feel you - I interviewed for Lucile packard too, and I’m pretty sure they made hiring decisions but they haven’t rejected me yet so I’m holding on to some hope as well edit: oh I just saw it is a different unit! Sorry! This is specifically for ICN!

I got a rejection e-mail after my first interview. My friend who only interviewed for ICN and made it to the second round just received a reference check email - did anyone else?

Did you interview with them? I haven't heard at all. My status for all of the pediatric units are under review, except for peds transitional which hasn't been looked at. I have a good friend patiently waiting who is not on here. I'll let you know if I hear anything!

Yeah I'm with you. A little bummed, but trying to stay positive. So far I've seen 2 offers for PICU and 1 offer for CVICU. I haven't heard anything about Float, though. I wonder if maybe they hired less people this round?

Congrats to both of you! So so exciting!! Looks like we are getting our answers soon ?? Just want to know either way because the wait is so brutal!! Did they tell you guys how many they’re hiring on the units?

For my critical care people, I talked to someone that joined the residency in the last cohort. From what he said, the PICU and CVICU did NOT have second interviews last round, but the Float Team did. He said they were expecting (maybe even told?) that they were getting second interviews, but they got job offers instead. I wouldn't completely discount a second interview, but I'm hoping this wait ends sooner than we think ?

Thanks for letting us know! I was going to e-mail her as well if we don't hear back today. Either way I hope we get some kind of update... I've been glued to my phone, refreshing my e-mail nonstop since Monday. lmao

Ahh, that’s what I was thinking! The waiting is the hardest part but I guess I’ll have to practice patience a little longer haha. But I’m definitely refreshing allnurses like crazy to find out updates from everyone! Hope we hear something soon! ❤️❤️

They didn't mention one! They just said they would let us know if "we got it" this week. But looking at past cohorts, the same verbiage was used and it meant a second interview. So I have no idea!! Did they mention a next steps re: a second interview during your panel one?
