I received my official admission for January. Hope to see some of you girls there! ?

Time flies by, you’re gonna be done before you know it ? are you doing the BSN? Okay in that case I might be getting it soon. The have my TEAS score already, the only thing that was taking a while was evaluating all the classes I’m trying to transfer over since I’m coming from California, they finished that a few days ago so hopefully I’ll get the acceptance soon. I can’t wait to start!

I think everything will be okay but I totally get you, I just want to see it in writing already that they passed ? OMG that’s so soon, good luck! Do you remember how long it took for you to be notified of your acceptance after you submitted your application? I’m planning to start in April so I’m sure they’re focusing more on students that are starting soon but I just want to get that acceptance already.

The AACN website still shows that an evaluation is supposed to take place in Fall 2020. From what I remember seeing on Galen’s website, I think the site visit is this week or next week so I’m guessing they’ll provide an update in like a month or so cause the AACN website shows that after the eval it takes about 30 days for them to update their findings.

I think they're only doing TEAS right now with COVID but I'm not sure, I'd call and ask. I scored a 70% on the TEAS, after you submit your score, Galen does their own calculations. I am not sure what the minimum is but if you can at least get 70 you'll be okay. Did you meet with admissions yet, did you get the official acceptance? I've been planning to start in April 2021 but I'm debating on doing January.

Thank you so much! My husband was stationed in Tampa for a few years, he grew up in Orlando so he’s familiar with the area. I don’t have a bachelors, just my AA but I did all the pre-reqs already. Did you Finish your pre-reqs? I have a friend who has a bachelors in public health as well and I think she had to do most of the BSN pre-reqs for her degree. Good luck with your enrollment apt! So far everyone has been really nice, they just received my transcripts so they’re reviewing them to see what transfers over. I just followed you back! ?

Hi! OMG that's so exciting, you'll be starting really soon! I'm not starting until April 2021 but I've been applying to random scholarships online. I still have to meet with finance but I am probably going to have to take out loans since I currently work full time so they're going to base my aid on my current income. Do you have an IG? Hey! Like I told the other girls above you should download the apps “ATI TEAS Pocket Prep" and "TEAS Mastery”, they give you daily questions of the day and practice tests. They helped me a lot. There’s also good study guides on amazon. Make sure to brush up on your basic math skills from high school like converting decimals into fractions and percentages, algebra, dividing fractions, stuff like that. Also brush up on A&P. I got some tricky questions about the male and female reproductive systems.

You do everything through Zoom, it's going well for me so far...I had a meeting with one of the admissions advisors on Zoom last week, I am starting in April so I've still got some time. I sent over my TEAS score and transcripts and will be meeting with finance soon!

@Rayk2020 maybe they’re including living expenses cause I know they had a breakdown that included off campus expenses and total was like 90. yeah, that’s why I want to do this program too. Everywhere else is waitlisted or they have very few seats available ?

I procrastinated and ended up studying the week of, honestly like 3 days before but I had been taking practice questions on the apps everyday for like a month since I always had my phone with me I would just open it and do some questions throughout the day. I ended up getting a 70%. I know I could've gotten a higher score if I studied more but I was working and had school at that time so it was tough to juggle everything. Anatomy is what lowered my score
