hello! I followed the city of hope account on Linked In and kept track of anything they posted. eventually one day I saw that they made a post that their new grad program was holding zoom meetings for info sessions. then they made another post that the application opened/where to apply/job number/deadline. I find through scrolling on their profile that they always announce this for every cohort on Linked In because I saw old ones from last year, and years prior. I believe the next app period is June/July for what I believe is the August Corhort. hope this helps! attached screenshots of the infosession posts that were for our now cohort, to get an idea of what you'll see (couldn't find the post they made for when the application opened).

I got my email regarding the first 3 days of virtual orientation after I completed all my steps and was cleared by everything we were told to do! So background check, drug test, my tasks, my employee health screening and vaccinations. I also stayed in contact with the person who sent me all of those onboarding emails to be updated so she was able to let me know I completed everything and would be sending me orientation info. I got the email late feb/early march. I would contact your person!

I was wondering this as well but haven't asked, but I would assume yes, we do. We have a start date, and I don't see why we wouldn't get paid for 8 hrs per day of orientation (:

OMG they're still giving offers up until now?! but in other news, congrats! what unit? I'm in hematology 4E!

hi! I was the one who was contacted yesterday that @mvrn20 mentioned. I was shocked to get the call on Monday because I thought Friday was the last day they were contacting candidates. The recruiter had told me yesterday (Monday) was their last day.

Had mine today as well definitely consisted of everything you said. Good luck! Already anxious to hear back.

Update: I was getting antsy about not getting an email to schedule my second interview so I ended up calling talent acquisition instead. Once she confirmed the notes that I was moving onto panel, she went right ahead and scheduled me through the phone. She told me they were running behind on getting emails out and are expected to come out by Wednesday2/7 or Thursday 2/8 the latest.

HI! Thats good to hear, I figured I'd be getting notified by tomorrow. I read elsewhere that the questions are mostly typical RN interview questions sprinkled in with some oncology since they're big on cancer! (questions such as why CoH, where you see yourself in 5 years, experience w/ a difficult pt, your skills). However, since there are unit specific leaders there, they could chime in with questions related to their unit. And there is only two rounds of interviews I believe! the HR screening we had then panel.

Hi! thanks for finding me it was starting to get lonely here LOL. I just had my first round this morning actually and she wanted me for second round interviews. I've yet to receive scheduling information because I was told they're conducting them from the 7th-12th. I want to say they are wrapping up first round interviews tomorrow to confirm the amount of candidates and will start emailing us soon?

Not sure if one was already created for this cohort but I couldn't seem to find any! Starting this thread for updates on this Spring's residency program (interviews, questions, support, general updates). Hoping to meet some new people! I applied to COH (I forgot what units were available to apply to) and received a email to schedule first round interviews!

love the kind words <3 I applied to NICU, LnD and PP and I have a lot of related certs and home health/kids experience but someone from my cohort got an interview for NICU with no related experience, no internal connections, or certifications at all except for volunteering to work with kids. I'm just super let down because it was my first choice when I didn't even get pulled over someone who doesn't check the boxes. I know its not my resume that's a problem because I have gotten calls back from other hospitals except for PVHMC. but of course, I am always open to future cycles and will always look at my other options!

I have an update. someone in my school's fb group said interviews for LnD were last week and that the week prior they called to let you know if you were already hired. this is for LnD so not sure about other units.

Website says March 5th
