  1. Hey everyone, So I'm extremely overwhelmed. I am a 22 year old female who has been out of school for over 2 years now. After high school I went into a community college (BMCC in NYC) for about a year but with absolutely no desire to be there. With that being said I didn't do much for myself during those semesters and I actually flunked most classes due to the lack of knowledge of what wanted to do with my career life. I started working after that until now. I got into a Medical Assistant program last Summer and got my cert and started working as a medical assistant, from that alone I realized I really enjoy the health field and helping others. I decided I want to be a nurse. I've done my research and I've talked to a few schools but I just feel so lost and overwhelmed.. The problem here is that my grades are honestly not the best to even try to get into most schools. I want to do anything I can and I will do anything in my power to get my career life started now that I have found something I am passionate about. The point of this post is; Does anyone know any type or nursing program that I would be able to get into with not so good grades or any program that is willing to help me take the steps to get my BSN. I have found a good 3 year LPN to RN to BSM program but I'm in the process of trying to see if I even qualify.. everyday I get down over this because I just want to start. Even if it means I need to start classes to raise my GPA, I will do that. Or any online programs that can help me. An accredited school, something affordable that I can use financial aid as well. I want to do this the right way and get my BSN in the near future. Thank you for anybody who can help me or has any information. (I do live in the NYC area)
