Thank you for responding to this! When I told the manager that I read the report word for word she said that my calls are not recorded by the facility. This is really hard for me to believe that these calls are not recorded, but our emails are screened by IT. I am going through a lot lately and I am starting to think that I simply need to remove myself from this position. I think I am burned out. ?

Radiology tech calls me and gives me a so called emergent report. I take a note of it and forward it to the provider on site. It turned out that when the final diagnostic report was issued, the report that has verbally given to me was completely the opposite. However, my manager has told me that my nursing licence can be at stake for giving the false report even though I repeated word for word to the tech to make sure that it in fact is what the tech said. This really has been stressing me out a lot and made me feel like I am drowning and incompetent for the job. Any advice?
