  1. @Smarlatticus I was accepted with a 4.0 GPA and 82 on the TEAS. I only took it once since I gathered from past threads that 82 was a competitive score for this program.
  2. @tallgal76 I recently enrolled in nursing courses and the program has been sort-of Covid-ified if you will. They accepted a lot more hybrid than usual for Spring 2021 start. They are also allowing hybrid students to enroll in classes and labs on days and times that only traditional students could enroll in before. A lot of in-person stuff is said to be online for the time being. No-telling what it might look like next fall.
  3. @mumto2monsters mine flips to a tablet as well so maybe I won’t need to buy a tablet ??Though it is a lot bigger than a regular tablet. Guess we’ll see!
  4. @mumto2monsters oh OK! I would rather use my laptop for typing as well. I read that a laptop is not preferred. Maybe because it’s bigger to carry around? I’m not sure. I’m definitely going to take notes during orientation. All of these tips are great!
  5. @mumto2monsters thanks for the tips! We have orientation coming up soon. I was wondering if you had any suggestions on which iPad we should get for clinicals.
  6. I created a group “JTCC Nursing Spring 2021” https://www.facebook.com/groups/368556347665846/?ref=share
  7. Yay! Should we do a FB group or somethin’?
  8. I got in traditional as well!! Congrats, guys!!
  9. I’ve been trying to will that email to come through ?
  10. Haha right? I have an exam to study for but I’m busy checking my email LOL
  11. @Cnashturnbow did your advisor have any info?
  12. We are on week 8 and I’m over here checking this email constantly, like c’monnn already!! I saw one cohort that got their response at seven weeks!
  13. @Cnashturnbow Dr. LaToya Reynolds
  14. @Cnashturnbow My last reply to you never posted! But I would be thrilled to have a buncha stuff in the mud room awaiting dissection! Haha it’s so interesting to me. I hadn’t thought about us maybe hearing anything sooner than October but that would be awesome. It is true that the app dates are different so I hope that is a possibility. Though I did read where someone had said it was somewhere on the website that the process is 8-9 weeks. I will go ahead and check my email several times per day just in case ? A&P is...going LOL. It’s fine. Everything is fine. ? Just trying to memorize tissues now. How about you?
  15. That is fun! I can’t wait! We don’t get to do any actual labs or anything because of social distancing, but hoping I will get to do dissecting in AP2! Are you guys on campus for that or are they sending them to your house?
