@flows67I applied for Dallas and did not put a second choice (my husband and kids are here and we are pretty rooted in the area.) I was offered an invite but it didn’t indicate where I’m being considered for but assume it’s Dallas. Did anyone get word on which area they are being interviewed for?

Im in Frisco, too. Applied to Dallas. My portal has everything checked off and says submitted.

Does anyone know if we will find out via the portal or will we get an email first?

I got my transcript evaluation back earlier this week (finally!) and had to go back and forth a bit about a couple classes, so I do know they are diligently working on our applications. I am anxiously waiting to hear back about interviews - last years cohort heard back by now but I know working remotely and processing more applications this year may be slowing things down. ahh!

that is great, Raven! You got your evaluation back already? That is great! Did anyone else? Now I am feeling a bit nervous since I haven't heard anything and all of my transcripts have been checked off.

@jeiman1Hi from Frisco, as well! I’ve applied to the program, so it’s great to have another person from the area applying. I did my CNA in Florida years ago so I can’t help with your question. I’ve seen some Dallas options being discussed on this thread as well as the ‘20 thread so you may want to search there.

The recorded webinar should be made available in the coming weeks. I can send it to you when we get the link for them.

This was SO helpful. I am encouraged to see a mom of young ones go through this program successfully. Congratulations momma! I am sure you are proud of all you've accomplished last year.

I'm in the same situation and applying to the Dallas '21 cohort. I have two little boys and one of them won't be able start preschool until the Fall. Trying to figure out options now but it's difficult since we probably won't know our clinical schedule until January.

Once you submit your application, there will be a list of your colleges/universities that you attended that will populate. You will either have a green check or a red "x" showing if they've received it or not. It takes time for it to populate. I sent mine back in April and it still hasn't shown up yet so I am trying to be patient.

Hello! For anyone currently in the Dallas 2020 cohort, do you mind if I contact you to get a little more information about your experience? I have applied to 2021 program and would love to ask some specific questions as I plan things out for next year.

I’m applying to Dallas! I have my application just about complete but am waiting to hit the “submit” button until my maymester class is complete in 3 weeks.

I just looked at last years thread and it looks like links pop up after you hit “submit” to upload the documents. I have one more class that I’m taking during Maymester at my local community college to fulfill the 40h. I received my bachelors in Florida so I’m missing all the Texas specific gen-Ed requirements. Is anyone waiting to submit their application until they complete courses? Or does it matter when you submit the app? I may be overthinking all of this...

Has anyone started their application? Do you see where we can upload our resume, CNA and BLS proof? I am not sure if there’s a spot after we officially “submit” the application or if we should add it to the activities and distinctions section?

No, I emailed her earlier this week asking if there were any changes. She said there will be a webinar in a couple weeks addressing it.

I am wondering the same thing. Cindy mentioned there will be another webinar on April 10th at 10am and 2p to discuss requirement changes and the application. I hope to find out more then, especially if there are changes to the TEAS. Anyone else here applying for the Dallas cohort?
