I bought the bundle + two other books...but haven’t bought the ATI stuff yet...I think it’s just a access code to something.

I know this might be a stupid question but do we need to have the flu shot uploaded before we start class on Monday? It’s not even flu season...it says it’s due in October in Castle Branch ??‍♀️

Has anybody who was accepted received anymore information about the Castle Branch website? I haven’t gotten any instructions for it yet..

Has anybody who’s been accepted received any emails or attachments yet about orientation info yet? The acceptance email stated that we should be getting it this week.

I think in-county it’s around 7k all together...probably around 11k out of county (I’m just guessing) it’s still cheaper than private college. Somewhere on the Collin website it breaks down the cost per credit hour.

On the survey accept or deny form that we have to respond to it says “are you exited to start Monday/Tuesday Summer 2021 semester” so I guess they changed it. Im not sure on how long the days are, I just know we have to be online at the same time as everybody else is. I’d like to stay on double weekends at my job, that’s the only schedule that’s available that would semi-work with my schedule. They’ve been saying all year that it’s going to be tues/wed so I tried planning according to that. Last case scenario I’d just go PRN but I need the health insurance for the program.

I know that the Summer semester is going to be on Mondays and Tuesdays...I wonder if it’s going to be like that for the fall and Spring as well. Trying to figure out a schedule for work....I’ve been on double weekends forever but IDK if it would be wise to stay on weekend doubles with class Monday mornings.

Also there will probably be a waitlist. I have a friend who was also accepted but she’s going to do another program in Waco...that’s one spot and I’m sure there will be other people in that situation too.

Also check your junk folders! I got a email today at 1:12 and was accepted!

She said within next week so hopefully sometime between now and Tuesday...

The zoom meeting said yesterday that 120 people applied and that emails will go out within the next week...

They do the LVN-RN first then traditional. I have to work but I’m going to try to take my break at the end of the session to hear the questions. If letters haven’t gone out by Tuesday maybe she will tell us when they’ll be out if we ask. https://www.collin.edu/nursing/InformationSession.html

I’m hoping we all make it in!! There is a info session on Tuesday the 27th through zoom if you look on the website, that will give you more insight on the program. I’m hoping we hear if we make it in or not within the next two weeks ?

I’m applying with 16pts if you count withdraws, 17pts if they don’t count (it’s not clear on the criteria sheet if they are counting them off for LVN-RN. I made a 80% on the TEAS.
