  1. Hi everyone, I scored well on the TEAS and was accepted into the program. I’ll be starting this fall. I highly recommend reading the ATI TEAS manual front to back. It gives you a breakdown of the scoring. If I’m not mistaking the reading portion weighs heavily on your overall score. The passages were long so know where to find the main idea and topic of each passage. DO NOT OVERTHINK IF IT’S NOT IMPLIED IN THE PASSAGE ITS NOT THE ANSWER. I purchased the ATI bundle that comes with two practice exams. I took 1 of the exams before I started studying and the other exam 1 week before my testing date. From there I just focused on my weak areas. Also, if math is not your strongest subject don’t worry the math portion is very basic. For science, study the systems, the organs and it’s functions. Refer back to your A&P notes or other online resources like Khan Academy. Grammar has the least amount of questions which means that you have very little room for error. There were a lot of questions on sentence structure. Review commonly misspelled word (I.e recommend) definitely know where to place your commas and semicolons.....Don’t forget the READING section has the highest impact on your overall score...good luck and I hope you all get in!
  2. Check your CSUF portals we are admitted!
  3. Hi, I’m looking at my notes she just said to email them to her right away. I signed and submitted both pages.
  4. Oh you just go to bookstores website right where you enter the course information you should see a drop down, select Individual textbooks. There you will see a list of all the books.....
  5. Same. I entered my email which will notify me when the books are available. If not you can always reach out to TW
  6. I think we’ll have a better picture in terms of price comparison once the bookstore post the bundle prices. In the meantime, I went ahead and purchased a cheap copy of fundamentals online.
  7. I know it’s a brain wreck.... I bought fundamentals to read ahead
  8. Got it! ? check your emails CSUF is moving along with the process.....
  9. Has anyone received an admission decision from CSUF yet?
  10. Interviews weren’t held due to COVID
  11. The cutoff point for fall is 83
  12. Hi @EricaK71413. Yes COPE is a hands on clinical program that allows you gain hours required for health care programs. However, it has other benefits. The program is designed for Pre-Med, Pre-Nursing, and HCA students. You will receive a certificate from UCLA School of Public Health upon completing the required 200 hours. While in the program you will provide basic care to patients while working with nurses, Physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. Every term you will rotate to a different unit of the hospital. This is awesome because it gives you an insight of nursing specialties. I wanted to also gain knowledge about the business side of healthcare so I completed the clinical and administration track. I was also apart of the leadership team. As a proud graduate of the program, I encourage you to visit their website and reach out to one of the recruiters. The program is competitive, you will have to write a short essay and interview with the leadership team. If you are selected you’ll move on to the next step of the process! good luck! If you go this route, and have any questions feel free to reach out.
