Did anyone else here back from the school? I got accepted on Tuesday!

Does anyone know when we should hear back about admission decisions?

The ones that received an email today that were waitlisted is this the first thing y’all have heard back from them since being waitlisted? I know back in December some people who were on the waitlist received an email with paperwork to fill out, I believe?

Has anyone’s AIS portal changed? Mine switched from incomplete to complete and in review, but I haven’t heard from the school

If anyone has been placed onto the waitlist previously by UTMB do you have any advice? Did y’all continue to apply? Does the waitlist end once summer starts? It’s all so confusing.. also to congrats to everyone accepted, and for the ones still waiting keep your heads up.. this whole process applying to schools has been brutal

My gpa is not that great either. Overall: 3.0 Science: 3.2 pre reqs: 3.5 I have my bachelors degree in health, work front desk in a medical office, and have some volunteer experience. Probably what at least got me onto the waitlist.

Just curious has anyone received the email to do a background check? I haven't heard anything from the nursing school other than my file is complete, and we should hear something by late October. Just wanted to see what kind of feedback everyone is getting.

I was also given the go ahead to do the Apply Texas a couple weeks ago, and they told me we can put anything in essay section because they don’t look at that they only look at the one you put in NursingCAS. I just put the same nursing personal statement I did for NursingCAS.
