It seems like people in their 20s like both from what I've seen/read and there are some good options within 30 minutes of the University Hospital. If you have facebook, there's a few facebook pages earlier in this thread that have been helpful while looking!

I'm going to be relocating from NY - starting August 2 in the CTICU. I would love to connect as well! I also found a facebook page called "Duke University Hospital New Graduate Nurses" that I joined where people discuss housing and other questions they might have.

I got offered a spot in the Winston region critical care track!! I might have cried a little out of relief/excitement ?

Last night at like 11:30pm I got an email from ------------------- about a zoom meeting today for Winston region - starts at 2:30pm soooo maybe I will get an offer after all. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I applied for critical care but said I'd be open to med surg... hopefully they're still doing offers for specialties and not just med surg. I need to distract myself for the next few days ?
