  1. Hello, I recently switched from med surge to labor and delivery. I am having a horrible time with cervical checks. Sometimes I go in, and I get it. Most of the time it’s just mush. Or when they are really thin I just get lost. I feel like I will never get it. This is 3rd week orientation. And just feeling discouraged. It’s all just a new world. I was good what I did in med surge. Now I’m just back to ground zero. LOL. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  2. I wanted to see if anyone can give me some advice on how to do better on answering psych questions. I am doing great in Med Surge but psych I am literally passing by the skin of my teeth! I study and read everything do practice questions and also complete the "Hot Topics" sheet my instructor gives.. But when it comes down to the exam it is so hard for me to choose the right answer! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hey everyone, I'm starting nursing school this fall and I am so nervous about the math! I have always been awful at math and it really worries me. Does anyone have any advise, or a positive outlook on it?
  4. Thank you so much for your comment. I will definitely be getting an NCLEX review, as you are one of many that have told me that!
  5. I’ll be starting my first semester of an ADN program next month. First semester I take Fundamentals of Nursing. All advise is greatly appreciated on supplies, organization tips and in general what to expect, as well as study techniques.
