Any other waitlisters still waiting to hear some good news?

Is that the campus you had originally selected? Or did you open up to either campus once you were waitlisted? Sorry for all the questions!! I originally had Athens as my main choice but just emailed Emily today to let her know that I would be fine with either campus. Hoping that will increase my chances of being pulled from the alternates list.

Rats. I am going to email Emily and let her know that I am open to both Augusta and Athens (originally just Athens only). IDK if that will help but I sure hope it does.

I still have two prerequisites I need to finish. I'm taking chemistry now and microbiology over the summer. You? Also, I never ended up reaching out to ask about the waitlist.. I guess I kinda chickened out haha did you email them?

I read earlier in this feed that there were people who had gotten accepted but didn't have the background check and email. They were added later (like after they had already received their acceptance letter).

Me either. I just wish someone could tell me something!! I live about 2.5 hours from Augusta so hoping that once my letter is mailed I can receive it pretty quickly.

It's not a no until we get that letter. I only have an email because I was a student there but many people have said that they didn't have those things and were still admitted. Stay positive. Also, the status just changed yesterday and I saw someone mention on here that there is only one person updating those statuses so there is a good chance they just didn't update it fully. I'm not losing hope and neither should you.

Just called admissions office. Decision letters were printed yesterday and should be mailed out by the end of the week this week, no later than next Monday so those of us who had their status change we should be getting our letters next week!

Just checked my status and it has been updated to Decision made by Admissions Committee; notification is by mail. No background check form though. I've had a school email this whole time (former student) so idkkkkk. This is literally making me so nervous.

Yes, I reached out by email. I responded to the email she had sent with the forms. I emailed her around 4pm yesterday and she emailed me back this morning around 9am.

I reached out to Emily yesterday and just got a response back saying that a decision has been made and my letter should be mailed out this week

For anyone who had the GRE waiver, how long until your application was no longer showing as incomplete? I just tried calling admissions again and they said the same thing but I had an overall of 3.43 so I met the requirement..

Yeah, they weren’t able to tell me anything since my application still says incomplete. It’s showing they are missing my GRE scores but I met the gpa requirement for the waiver and college of nursing said they had everything they needed.

I had that same date! Application was verified on 2/7, Under review on 2/13, Emily emailed about form on 2/18 and I sent it back within minutes of receiving it.. Hopefully I hear back this week.

Have you reached out to Emily to see if a decision had been made? I know they said the application status portal doesn't get updated as often for those who applied through NursingCAS. Mine also says incomplete and that I am missing my GRE scores but I met the requirements for the waiver and the college of nursing said they had everything they needed.

Nothing as of yet for me but tomorrow will mark 4 weeks since my application was verified so probably too soon anyway.

Application verified through NursingCAS on Feb 7th, first email on Feb 13th and second email with pre-req and FAQ forms on Feb 18th.

I attended Augusta for undergrad so mine has shown my student ID and email since I submitted my application. Not sure what to go off of, other than anxiously awaiting an update!

Hey Nurse.Cook321, when did your application go under review? Just trying to gauge when I should be expecting a decision.. My anxiety is through the ROOF right now haha
