  1. I'm also going to apply. my GPA is really bad due to a personal situation but it's a 3.2. I'm going to take my TEAS in May and hopefully I get at least an 85. How did you study? I'm also debating whether I should try for the ASN program
  2. We just got an email from them! Looks like the Nursing 2603 class isn't online or in summer anymore. We're taking it during the fall in class! I don't know how to feel about this lol. Also, would anyone be interested in making like a group chat or page on facebook? Just something we can use to communicate as a cohort
  3. I also recommend Professor Todebush for the summer! She was AMAZING! I made a B but she was very understanding and made her test according to the students(multiple choice, open-ended, etc.) She's also very happy to answer any questions. I believe she's the head of the chemistry department as well. She goes fast but that was because it was the summer class lol
  4. I'm sorry you didn't get in! I hope you get into a nursing program soon! And yeah, I've never understood how they chose people. I applied once already and didn't get in the first time but had an 84 hesi score with a 3.5 gpa. I seriously don't know their method and there has yet to be somebody that could explain. Some people say that they use the median scores
  5. Looks like everybody on here so far has been accepted! I did too! (for those that will read these in the future when applying to the UNG nursing program, I have a 3.43 GPA and scored an 88.5 on my HESI) And did y'all figure out the sign up sheet??
  6. That's what I was thinking! I think there may have been a lot of people who applied this fall and maybe they're thinking about how many people they want to accept fully and which ones to put on the waitlist. Overall, they really should notify those who applied if something like this is happening. Honestly, this is such a mess with possibly changing the curriculum and delaying acceptance letters.
  7. I, unfortunately, have a pretty low science GPA of 3.0. It's because of chem 1 with a really bad professor and I made the horrible decision of taking micro with A&P II together(I had to get a C in micro for an A in A&P II). I totally agree with you that taking the TEAS is much more work because some places require you to take it at their campus and some are 3 hours from where I live!
  8. I am so scared y'all! I'm super curious as to what technical difficulties they are having because they literally only judge use by our GPA and HESI scores. I'm basically average with Hesi score of 88.5 and GPA of 3.47 so I really wish I could knock on the committee's door and beg for them to take me in the program or at least give me my rejection letter XD. Do y'all know of any other nursing programs that are in Georgia? I heard that Piedmont already got their letters out but I also heard that Piedmont's program is very known for being MERCILESS and difficult. I know that nursing is going to be really rough but I'm not sure about busting my mental and physical(I forget to eat sometimes lol) health.
  9. Hey guys! Nice to meet you all! I just applied to the program again. I tried for the program for SP 2019 but didn't get accepted, with HESI score of 85 and GPA of 3.5. I just retook the HESI and I'm lowkey angry because mine had mostly skeletal system on there which I haven't looked at since January! A&P II didn't go over skeletal so I was screwed LOL. But I made an 88.5 this time, 90s on everything except the A&P, which I made an 84 on T-T and my GPA is probaly going to be like a 3.47 if I get a C in Microbiology. I don't know guys, I feel like I'm not a very competitive applicant and I swear that they don't just look at our HESI and GPA! No way! I've meet people with high scores and GPA that didn't get in while people with lower GPA's and scores than me got in. I'd much rather they require an essay instead of getting to know us through that personality test XD
