  1. hi, yes I got accepted into UofT and Humber's nursing program
  2. I agree with @nursinggal101. You should definitely call or email the York nursing admissions if you satisfied most but not all of your conditions. It would be better for you to speak to them and maybe they'll be able to waive that condition or offer you another alternative. Since it's microbiology and not a core course like physiology they may be more lenient. Wishing you the best!
  3. Hey! I recommend you joining the UofT nursing facebook group as you can get all your questions answered and read other's questions and answers too since the whole check is complex. > CPR, immunization, photo, synergy consent form, workplace safety student consent form, annual police record consent form, HSP net consent form, and VSS/criminal record check In addition to the things you need uploaded, you need to complete the Synergy consent form which is found on Synergy! Other than that, all seems correct. And the picture you can take it yourself like a passport photo. However I heard they don't even use that photo but your TCard photo instead. The August 15 deadline seems pretty strict but your circumstance is different, perhaps emailing [email protected] and ask because it is unfair you were sent the email late. The people who control the ask.nursing email are very nice and I think they'd be more than happy to give you answers. Best of luck!
  4. Hmm, I didn't know they did that but I am wishing you the best!
  5. The conditional offer for UofT states that they take into account the average of your final year of your degree so whatever courses you're taking in the last year. The lady I spoke with also told me that the average calculation was for the last year only (with consideration that the prerequisite marks meet the requirements). Are you concerned that the NCR mark will be included in the average? Because based on the criterion listed on the site as well, because it isn't in the final year, it should not be included. Did you tell the registrar lady this course was completed two years ago?
  6. Because the registrar lady is the closest thing we have to the admission committee, perhaps you should trust her word. Although I personally believe that CR/NCR marks shouldn't be included because of the purpose of CR/NCR is to use it to just get the credit, I do know other professional schools like pharmacy do still count it. I was in a similar situation and accepted that the CR/NCR course will be included in the final year GPA calculation. Was your NCR course this year or was it another year?
  7. I think the registrar lady has the most accurate information on the grade calculation. I think we spoke to the same person and she also told me that she can see UofT CR/NCR grades. Did she clarify that by saying if the admissions committee can see the grade, that it WILL be calculated in the average?
  8. CONGRATULATIONS! ?
