  1. Thank you all for writing me. I was granted temporary privileges until my paperwork is complete. I may start in August. I'll keep you posted.
  2. They are aware that I want the position because my interview with the medical director was June 25th. The next medical executive board meeting is in August due to summer vacations. They have sent my lab jackets, had me fill out all of my paperwork, given me access to email, and scheduling. I am just waiting while I continue as an ICU nurse.
  3. I graduated in May, took my boards in September and became certified. I applied for my NPI, CDS, and DEA numbers and met the credentialing process for the group. I was offered the position once I received my DEA number my start date was initially April 29, but the hospital where I am going to work has me going through a separate process. All of my paperwork is in I interviewed with the hospital's director. Now I am waiting for the medical executive board to go over my credentials.
  4. The hospitalist group suspected by April 29th that all of the credentialing would be complete and so did I. Something went wrong.
  5. I have been hired as a hospitalist for a hospitalist group, but the hospital that I am supposed to start at is extremely slow at interviewing me, reviewing my credentials, and allowing me to start. It is frustrating. I have been an Acute Care NP since September of 2017 and I haven't started yet. Please give me some advice because I am anxious to start.
