  1. I hope we hear from them soon, as well!!
  2. @gmb_roadtoRN Yes, I did apply for this September! I hope we hear soon! Fingers crossed!
  3. @MandipassRN2020 How is it so far? I was just researching this site to see if anyone applied for this years and came across your post from last year. I hope it has gone well for you!! Fingers crossed that I get accepted!
  4. Hey everyone! I am looking into SJHSN now since I was waitlisted at BCC for Fall 19. I am trying to do some research and wondering a few things. I am wondering as a single mother, how much financial aid I may receive to attend. Also, did any of you apply for scholarships/grants to help out? The tuition is just so steep for a two year program, I am trying to wrap my head around it and determine if it's worth it. As anyone met with a financial advisor there at all? Any advice would be great! Thanks!
  5. It's just so defeating. Having to wait an entire year is the worst. Just seems crazy with how many applicants they have, they only have one application period per year.
  6. Mine did not change to nursing and it says 2017-2018
  7. @ebnel47 What do you mean by catalog year?
  8. Mine also did not change. You are not alone, love. Sucks.
  9. Yes, I needed an elective and was suggested a computer course of some sort. Although that would have been an easier "A" I was not trying to spend a semester and $$ doing an easy class when I could take something that would better prepare me for nursing. So, I went and just signed up for it. It's a hybrid course so it's been nice. Just have 4 face-to-face classes per semester. I am taking it with Vivian Demers who had amazing reviews. So far, so good! I suggest taking it with her if it is offered in the summer. It is a lot of dosage calculation and pharmacology basics. I took dosage calculations at CCRI previously and knew I would need a refresher. Something to look into, for sure.
  10. Thanks for the heads up, I feel better that I didn't get an e-mail after it was sent. Phew! As far as acceptance letters, this is worse than waiting until March, the unknown is driving us all bonkers.
  11. Did you guys get an e-mail when you submitted the application? I never did. (I was already a student) Hoping it was actually submitted. Life has been nuts so I should have called to double check. I wish we could just KNOW by now. Ahhhh, the anticipation is a killer. Anyone else taking pharmacology this semester? I took it as an elective to hopefully prepare me for the program. Fingers crossed that we all get in and that we find out SOON!
  12. I think it was actually 3.49 SO maybe considered a 3.5? Fingers crossed!!
  13. My 3.4 was with just the pre-admission courses. EEEK . My overall was better, but it doesn't really matter. Hoping I make it! I just need an answer. LOL The unknown is killing me. At least if we had a set date, I could chill out a bit. Glad I am not alone! Well, good luck all!
  14. The anticipation is KILLING me. Ahhhhh! Anyone else? I applied with only a 3.4 so I am really unsure what my chances are and I am nauseous waiting for an answer.
  15. Hey All!! This may be a silly question but is it too late to apply for Fall 2018?? I just transferred this semester and my advisor has given me the run around. I have everything but the TEAS completed.
