  1. Thanks for the info! Do you have any advice regarding ODS, deployments, and how the rank system works?
  2. So, I graduate from my ASN program in MAy and have been considering going into the navy for nursing. I already know that they require at least a bachelor's degree, but will the navy accept a master's in nursing instead if I do my ASN to MSN? ' Also, any information regarding ODS, deployments, specialties, and anything else of the sort would be so appreciated! Thanks guys!
  3. SO, probably a long shot but I figure I'll give it a go. Anyone here been through this nursing program recently ? If so, any advice for someone about to start? Also, Anyone here going into this program with me this Fall?
  4. Thanks for the advice. I've scheduled some dental work after we get back from being out of the country. As for my folks. Well I come from a long line of nurses so they know they won't be seeing much of me. Any particular kind of shoe/sock you would recommend? People say they like new balances and compression socks but I don't really know.
  5. So I am super excited I got my acceptance letter this past Saturday. I am super excited for the opportunity but so far it's been steeped in mounds of paperwork to be completed and not to mention a pretty comprehensive list of costs. Apart from all the paperwork and what not, What can I expect between now and August 20th [Orientation Day]
  6. Update: I got in to the program!!!!! Got my acceptance letter saturday
  7. I wouldn't say it was harder, it was really the same stuff just different questions for everything except anatomy. The anatomy portion was completely different and the critical thinking had a couple of the exact same questions as the first time.
  8. So, just a little update; My HESI Scores are i and I scored the following: Math-96, Grammar and Reading - 88, Anatomy and Physiology - 84. I hope that it's enough to get me into the program let me tell y'all my stress level is to the max about it. They start selections at the beginning of April.
  9. So, can anyone give me any study tips for the grammar section of the exam? I did not do so well with the grammar section my first time around and I really don't know what to do or where to start.
