I am graduating next week in Texas but my family is moving to Broomfield, Colorado at the end of May. I will take the NCLEX in Texas in June and have a compact RN. I know a lot of hospital systems have a hiring freeze right now. This is a second career for me. Anyone in the Denver Metro area have any insights? I prefer women's health but would work in almost any field (except ER) to get the experience. Thanks!

Thank you both! That is helpful. It never occurred to me that I can take the NCLEX in Co. I guess I just need to make sure that my program meets all the qualifications to test in CO...I will look into that!

I am a mature student and will be graduating with my ADN in May 2020 in Texas. My family is planning a move to the Denver, Colorado area in June/July of 2020 as my daughters will start college in the fall 2020. Texas and Colorado are both part of the Nurse Licensure Compact but I won't take the NCLEX until June/July 2020 so I won't be licensed by the time we move. Any advice? We have to be in Colorado by August so my youngest can start high school in Colorado. Thank you in advance!

I can't figure it out. I have not seen another HESI delay but I also haven't checked the website for additional HESI dates. í ½í¸‰

I was just on the ACC ADN page under Application process (not application status) and there's a note to the right that says that the application deadline has been extended to March 8, 2018. (This change is not reflected on the application status page.) Sooooo....seems that it will be a few more weeks before we hear anything. FYI.

Anyone know when admission letters will go out for the Fall 2018 class? I know Jan 29th was deadline....I just don't know how long after the deadline that they typically send letters?

I just got mine. Thank you for the heads up that they would be coming today. I hope you get your petition. By the way, I was petitioned for the first group but couldn't do it because of a planned surgery. They agreed to petition me for the second group.
