Proctored writing sample and interview

I have applied to the eline nursing program at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. I just got invited to the second round of the review process which consists of a proctored writing sample and an interview.

This is very unexpected so I'm trying not to freak out over it. Does anyone have any advice on what I should expect? TIA

I did too and it was so unexpected. Would have been nice to get a heads up. I have been accepted into UTA's online program so I'm debating on whether or not to go through with the interview. UTA is my first choice anyway.

It would be nice to have a fellow DFW-er to study with but if UTA is your first choice and you've already been accepted, I would go with that. Plus, if there are any issues, UTA is MUCH closer than A&M if you have to travel there for any reason.

I think you might have me confused with someone else, sorry. I live in Houston. I've already accepted my spot with UTA, but I kind of want to go through the proctored writing sample and interview for the experience. I haven't responded to the email yet. I'm still weighing my options.

OH!!! I remember seeing you from previous posts and I thought I remembered you being from the DFW area. Guess I was wrong, sorry! 😀 Well, either way, congrats on getting accepted to your first pick!!! 🎉

Thank you and good luck to you. Making it to the second round is definitely a good sign.

What did you decide to do? Did you do the proctored writing today?

I decided not to. It's not fair to people who really want the spot. How was it, though?

It was fine...very basic subject. They just wanted to see how well we can write.
