This is from TCC's website. This is what is currently required, but make sure to check their site or meet with an advisor for any future updates or changes.

I think your best bet is to contact the school. In saying I got the info from the school website was my attempt to show you only have to do a little research to find the info you're looking for. This site is amazing for finding info, but for the questions your posing, the source is a great place to go to as well. I think scheduling an appt with an advisor might be your best option. Best of luck!

They currently take 48 in the fall and 48 in the spring..I emailed them the other day and asked. I'm applying for the fall as my back up plan, ideally I would like to get into FAMU's BSN program so we'll see. I just took the HESI for TCC's RN program and I got a 97 so it looks like there's a good chance I will be getting into that program since its based on points. The HESI weighs heavier in points than your GPA does. The advisor told me people with 4.0's haven't been admitted because they got low HESI scores.

Here is what Mr. Tellis sent me when I was needing clarification on the prereqs (I am now successfully admitted thanks to good advising)

Please make certain you have done the following prerequisites before attempting to do the Healthcare application for Nursing (if you have taken these at another college other than TCC, that is fine):

1st semester here at TCC take:

ENC1101

BSC2085 Anatomy 1with lab

DEP 2004 (Human Growth and Develop)

PSY2012 (General Psych)

--followed by---

2nd semester here at TCC take:

MGF1106 or any college level Math

BSC2086 Anatomy 2 with lab

HUN1201 (Nutrition)

Humanities (any HUM or LIT , MUH, or PHI etc..)

It would also be advisable (if possible) to try and complete MCB2004 (Microbiology with lab) before beginning the RN program (though this course is not a prereq, and can be done after the deadline)

After completing ALL prerequisite courses and the required HESI exam, please apply through TCC EagleNet (using the RN Web Page)

We have 56 seats available each Fall and also each Spring, and typically we get about 200 to 300 applicants. The average gpa (in prerequisites) is around 2.9 to 3.3; average HESI is 93 (for Fall applicants) and around 88 (for Spring applicants)
