I am about to finish up a 2 month full time preceptorship for my senior practicum, and I am struggling with figuring out an appropriate gift for my preceptor (he's a guy...so a lot of the ideas that have been suggested to me, such as flowers or nice lotion/soap, probably wouldn't work..). I am going to bring some sort of baked good for the unit to show my appreciation, but I'm really stuck on what to get my nurse. He's been an amazing teacher and I was so lucky to be placed with him. I know he doesn't get paid anything extra for doing this, so I feel some sort of gift with a thank you card would be appropriate. Any thoughts?
Thank you in advance!! :)
