Pre-nursing

I'm 20 yrs old in college I recently graduated high school in may 2015 and I'm in pre-nursing and I would like to know exactly what is pre-nursing? I was put in pre-nursing based off my college entrance test I took.

Preursing is a term that may schools use to denote students who want to become nurses but haven't yet been accepted to the nursing program. It typically lays out a path of study that includes all of the prerequisite courses for acceptance into the nursing program. It is not a major but rather a designation that lets advisers know your direction and help you stay on track with your studies.
