Potential Nurse
1 Post
Hello,
I am new to this board and was wondering if any of you could help me.
I am applying to several schools as a PRE-NURSING student..
- would I be entered into the college of arts and sciences or the school of nursing at the university I am applying to?
-Would the recommendations I turn in be addressed to the school of nursing, the college of arts and sciences, or Admissions?
Thank you.

It will vary a bit depending on the school. For example my university used to allow you into the nursing courses as a freshman. Now however, you get 2 years of liberal arts and sciences and have to apply for a spot in the upperdivision. That's the actual nursing part.
I think it was Vanderbilt I read about that you have to 2 years of sciences etc. at a totally different college, then apply to the upper division.
Most colleges have their bulletin online. Check a few and see how they do it.
