Postpartum depression

Featured Replies

i would think that any huge life transition could trigger depression. This depression just wouldn't be hormonal. less time with wife..less sex.. more responsibility..more bills.. lots of variables to potentially cause depression =P

I really had never thought about this much before. I work on a mother/baby unit and so much of the care is centered around the woman and child, the thought had never really entered my mind. That's actually kinda sad and embarrassing to admit. Your question prompted some research and I founf a great website about PPD in men. Here you go.

Thanks for making me think today :)
