Hello!! I am about to be 32 and have worked in the healthcare field for probably 10 being a nursing assistant. I am currently wanting to go into a program but I am completely lost. I don’t want to go to a jc and retake the prerequisites (I took them before and they’re expired) because I just want to get into a program. Can someone guide me into help takes my TEAS? Where do I start?

Hi,
I would start by looking at nearby programs, and seeing what they require. Does your employer provide tuition assistance? Some places may have different time periods on how long prerequisites last. How long ago were the classes?

Sorry not sure if I’m replying to this the right way. I believe there is tuition assistance through the hospital I’m currently at. They expire after 7 years and mine are passed that. I’m just really nervous about the TEAS and the nervousness is making me discouraged.

There may be a class at a community college that would help you in preparing for the TEAS, so I would look into that. I would also look into the conditions of tuition assistance- is it certain programs only?
