]Hi everyone! Im having a bit trouble choosing the right school for me and Im completely stressed out! I am currently a chha and cma but after going to community college major criminal justice for 1year and I decieded to give something else a try. I been working in the medical field for 2 years now and I was thinking on becoming a LPN. Everything was a go I was very excited! STILL AM! However after reading the reviews from certain schools began to stress me out! THE SCHOOLS I WAS INQURING ABOUT ARE LINCOLN TECH (MOORESTOWN,NJ) AND ALSO JERSEY COLLEGE OF NURSING (EWING,NJ). The reviews are a bit scary and basically Lincoln is a scam it cost 30k and the teachers aren't any help nothing! So that turned me to Jersey college of nursing! But I cant find ANY reviews on this school its like everything is hush hush! Now Jersey College offers a lpn course and if you GRADUATE from their school you will automacticaly be accepted in the lpn to rn program! SOUNDS GREAT! But hours are 7am to 330pm and i live a hour away!(Camden County) Which means i would have leave home 6am (I also have a 7yr and 4yr old) to make it to school on time! And as i read more theres fee besides finanical aid...$500 deposit to hold your seat also $50 exam to see if your accepted or not. BUT the cost of the class is about 25k.. cheaper then Lincoln Tech! Can anyone assist me on any help about these schools! Im 25 single mom and trying to better me and my kids life! I dont want to go to a school and be stressed bc im not getting the proper education. My plan was to become a lpn then take another course to become a rn! Basically im been in college forever and I feel as though Im at the same salary! And not to mention I only have like 9 credits bc all the pre req you dont get credit for! But just dont know what to do!!!!

Well I was the same boat. I'm a cna and a hha I was going to school for my RN but it took to long so I tested in the LPN program this was better for me because I was going to school the same as u still making the same pay and being over worked so I think getting your LPN first then go back for your RN
heyy Janaya thanks for the advice! If you don't mind me asking what school do you or did you attend was in worth it?! Im trying to find reviews on good schools! and I understand completely about being over worked. Thats why im deciding to take off work while im in school.
