Let me start off by saying I really dont ever remember putting PCC down as one of my options but per the district office it was my 3rd choice. With all of that said I was placed today in the 2 year program at PCC. I never thought about this program so I never asked any questions at all about it. Are there any current PCC students out there that can give me any insight as to the class schedules for Block 1? How are the instructors? Is there tutoring? Sorry for all the questions, but I only have until the 26th of this month to decide to take it or defer.
Thank you in advance
Crystal

Hey Crystal,
I too was placed in the fall 2011 semester at Phoenix CC. I am still deciding if I want to defer or accept placement (I have til Aug.9th to decide.) Anyway, I was curious if u accepted yours and got your packet in the mail? Because I too am curious about some things. I was told that there were 2 campuses for Phoenix CC. One on Thomas and one downtown somewhere. Do you know anything about that, or which one applies to the RN program??
Let me know...Thanks!
Kelly
Hi MsKelly, thank you for posting. I did decide to accept and will be at orientation on the 3rd. I only know of one campus and thats on Thomas. Hope to see you there.
Thanks for letting me know. I wasn'teven aware of an orientation on the 3rd. I guess I need to fax that placement acceptance paper right away.
To be honest with you, I really was going to defer then I thought to myself I have been waiting this long to wait some more? No way so I faxex n my letter with only a few days left to make a choice. It doesn't make it any easier that for some strange reason PCC is the only nursinf department that is closed till august 8th. So the only person who can help you there now is the secretary, but she was really nice.
Well, I actually had some good luck! I did defer and was able to get in to the Banner Boswell campus this semester instead. It is so much closer to my house, so I am really happy. So I guess I won't be seeing you at Phx CC, but thank you for answering my questions and trying to help me. I really appreciate it. Good luck with your school!
