Pay range in florida

 I am a new CNA and just had an interview today in one of the Nursing facility here in Florida, when I asked about the salary, the HR said it's $8.05, they don't provide uniform, 3-month probationary period, and a week vacation after a year. Is this reasonable?

Any input is highly appreciated

8.05 an hour? OMG that is low. I realize that you are in a different region and Country than I am but still. I was making that at starbucks 2 years ago and I didn't have to wash anyones backside or break my back. I have an interview on Monday for a job at a nursing home here (Vancouver) and the pay starts at $21.25 an hour. I also applied to the hospital in my area and the starting pay is $21.75 plus 12% instead of getting extended benefits. I am sorry, I would not do this job for 8.05 an hour. The lowest paying job that I applied for was $18 an hour. I hope you find something else.

I'm wondering where in Florida? I live in South Florida nad I need to call around to see if it is worth it for me to get my cna/pct. I'm starting rn pre-reqs this fall and want to be able to work during school.
