Passed my First Semester...

Published

So, I just finished my first semester. It consisted of 8 weeks of Fundamentals, following 8 weeks of Adult 1. I got a B in both classes! I'm happy that I will have a nice long break before starting 2nd and 3rd semester....Which I assume will be a tuff year.

Anyways, I just wanted to come on here and say to those that are nervous about starting NS because their life will be overrrrr....to relax. I was nervous, as well. I didn't think I would be "smart enough". I "prepared" my family for doom. lol. While I still have a ways to go, I just want you to know that it is really not that bad! I hung out with my husband and kids every single weekend, minus a Sunday here or there, preparing for a test the next day. I didn't lose any sleep. I didn't stay up all night doing care plans. I am a huge procrastinator and thought that I would suffer in NS because of this. I waited til the day before a test to study, and did fine. I seriously thought pre-reqs were much harder. So, while every program is different and everyone is different, don't stress out before you get there. You may find out that it is not that bad. ;)

Congrats!! I'm getting to finish up my second semester. It's been crazy. My finals are this week and I am ready to be done. But I took the weekend and reenergized and I am ready to take on the week!!!
