hello everyone. i wanted to know if any of you have any tips for a panel interview (more than one person will be interviewing me at one time). what kind of questions were you asked? how did you relieve your anxiety? any tips to get myself prepared beforehand? how was it different from a one on one interview? thanks!

I'm a new grad. I had two in the last two weeks. Another one on the way. Don't get intimidated. Only one person will be speaking at a time. Be confident and look them in the eye. Is this the first phase of the interview process or the second? Make sure you have your sales pitch on why you would be a good fit for them when they ask. One hospital did the peer interiview first then the last interview was with the unit manager. Another hospital the unit manager did the initial interview and the peer interview was last. So it all depends on the place. Either the unit manager will give you the real interview with the hard hitting questions or the panel will.
Questions I was asked:
Why did you choose nursing?
Why do you think you'll be a good nurse?
Why did you choose this unit?
How do you deal with conflict with co-workers you don't get along with?
Give me an example in your professional or clinical experience where you had an angry customer/patient and what did you do and what was the outcome?
Give me an example in your clinical or professional experience where you displayed teamwork?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Our unit can get pretty hectic at times with the doctors, families, and all the demands of the job. How do you manage stress?
That's all I can remember for now.
